Tips for Call-in Radio Shows

1. Have your main point ready; speak plainly with just a few facts or references. Speak from the heart but try not to be overly dramatic.

2. Try to keep it short and sweet. You may be cut-off if you try to explain every nuance and go on for too long.

3. Dial in to the show before the number is given out. The phone lines can fill up very quickly. If you communicate better in writing – try emailing in your comments.  Again keep it concise and the host may read your comments on the air
